2026 Crawford Festival: Catalogues

Each year we welcome many visitors to the Crawford Festival – our annual event celebrating and promoting philatelic literature and research. Two days of presentations and discussions on the year’s theme followed by the vote count and announcement of this year’s Crawford Medal winner.

The Crawford Medal is a silver-gilt medal awarded for the most valuable and original contribution to the study and knowledge of philately published in book form during the relevant period. This Medal is open to world-wide competition and has been awarded by the Society on over 90 occasions since the first award in 1920.

The short list of books for the Crawford Medal 2026 has been announced. More information is available here: The Crawford Medal 2026 short list

The medal will be awarded at the end of the Crawford Festival which will take place on 16 and 17 June 2026 at 15 Abchurch Lane, London EC4N 7BW.  This year’s event is kindly sponsored by Stanley Gibbons and the theme will be Catalogues.
