New Editor for The London Philatelist

The Royal Philatelic Society London is delighted to announce that Nina Jääskeläinen is to be the new Editor of its journal, The London Philatelist, with effect from 1 January 2026.
Nina is a cultural journalist and a digital specialist. She was previously the Editor-in-Chief of The Filatelisti Magazine, the leading philatelic magazine in Finland.
Nina said ‘I feel huge gratitude and humility at being given the opportunity to serve the members of the Royal Philatelic Society London, as well as the readers of the distinguished and honourable journal The London Philatelist, throughout the whole philatelic world.’
Tony Bard has resigned from his role as Editor of The London Philatelist, which was one of a number of philatelic editorial roles he occupied, to take up another position and to allow more time for his collecting and exhibiting. Tony has made an invaluable contribution to the Society over the past six years, for which it is most grateful. The Society wishes him every success in his future philatelic and editorial endeavours.
One of the challenges that the Royal Philatelic Society London faces is a world in which communication technology is changing rapidly. Nina brings a modern and European perspective to The London Philatelist and she is warmly welcomed to the Society.
