16 July 26 – The Northern Meeting

Joint meeting with The Postal History Society

This meeting, which is on the Thursday immediately before the York Stamp Fair, is a Joint Meeting with the members of the Postal History Society.

The hotel overlooks the Race Course.

There is ample on-site parking but there is now a parking charge of £5 for the day plus £2 if staying overnight, to be paid at the hotel reception on arrival.

  • 9.30 Tea, coffee and accompaniments
  • 10.15 Announcements
  • 10.30 Displays by Fellows and Members of both Societies
  • 12.30 Two course buffet lunch (cash bar)
  • 13.30 Displays continue
  • 15.30 Tea, coffee and accompaniments
  • 17.00 (approx.) Close of Meeting
  • 18.30 Dinner

The meeting is an opportunity to bring guests. If they wish to participate by giving a display, they will be most welcome.

The charge for the Meeting will be £35 per person. Please complete the form and send it with your payment to Marc Oxley as shown on the form.
